This project was commissioned by Project Axis, an independent lyricist/ producer who is also a personal friend. She had a very specific vision about how this video should came out. From storyboards to color palettes, we worked really closely through out the entire process, ensuring the end product is something she envisioned.

The keywords for this project was bleak and grand. She wanted to convey the intrinsic sadness that this character embodies, but at the same time tell a story about fatalism. Finding the way that moves the audience toward the right emotion was something we really focused on. I came up with the theory that endearing the audience with this particular character since the start was the key. In order to achieve that, I built several fully animated rigs to allow her to dance. By allowing her to move, the character came to life and allows the audience to actually care about her fate.
